Dr. Mechtler is the medical director of the Dent Neurologic Institute in Amherst, New York.  Dent is the largest outpatient neurology center in the world, seeing over 260,000 patients a year across its four campuses, 75 providers, and 500 employees. He is also the director of the Dent Cannabis clinic, the largest of its kind in the US, having treated over 13,000 patients with cannabinoid-based therapies since 2016.
